Sign Up for Summer Camp Season and Register for Sports Leagues

Rockville, Maryland, June 17 – Rockville's summer camps are open and limited spaces remain. Camps are open to city residents and nonresidents age 3-16 with single and multi-week options.

The camp season runs June 21-Aug. 24.

Three two-week sessions will run from June 27-Aug. 5 at the following camps:

  • Way Off Broadway at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre (ages 8-12).
  • Field Trip Camps based at Lakewood Elementary School: Campventures (ages 7-9) and Quest (ages 10-12).

Specialty camps are also taking registrations:

  • UK Elite Soccer at Welsh Park (ages 5-7 or 8-12).
  • 10 and Under Tennis (ages 7-10) at King Farm Park.
  • Funfit Summer Adventure at Thomas Farm Community Center (ages 3-5).
  • Dei Lab — Lego Invention Camp (ages 5-7 and 8-11) at Thomas Farm Community Center.
  • Abrakadoodle (ages 6-12) at Rockville Senior Center.

Spaces are still available in extended-day camps, including Summer Blast (ages 5-11), Early Risers (before care) and Home Stretch (after care) at College Gardens and Lakewood elementary schools, and Twinbrook Community Recreation Center.

Additional camps at Rockville's community centers are also still taking registration:

  • Dramatic Kids (ages 7-10) from Aug. 1-5, at Thomas Farm Community Center.
  • Reading Rocks! (ages 6-10) from July 11-15 or 18-22 at Thomas Farm Community Center.
  • Don't Forget About August (ages 5-13), from Aug. 8-12 and/or 15-19 at Lincoln Park Community Center.
  • Last Hurrah (ages 5-12), from Aug. 15-19 and 22-26, at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center.
  • Dance Moves! (ages 6-10) from July 25-29, at Thomas Farm Community Center.

Rockville's youth sports leagues are open for registration with a new early bird rate. Register by Thursday, Aug. 25 and save $10.

The deadline to register for soccer and cross country is Thursday, Sept. 1.

The registration deadline for the 12 and under tennis tournament is Friday, Aug. 12, with the tournament set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 27; for the 10 and under tennis tournament, Friday, Aug. 19. The tournament is set to take place Saturday, Sept. 3.

Before the registration deadline, register at any Rockville facility, including City Hall, the Swim and Fitness Center, the Senior Center, Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, Lincoln Park Community Center, Thomas Farm Community Center and Croydon Creek Nature Center.

Adult league registration is also open for men's softball, men's basketball, co-rec reverse softball, women's volleyball, co-rec volleyball and co-rec soccer 7s. New to men’s softball this fall is a 50-and-over league on Thursday evenings.

This year marks the 41st annual 10K/5K race, set to take place on Sunday, Nov. 6, in King Farm Village Center. For more information and to register, visit www.rockville10k5k.com.
