Mayor and Council Town Hall on Diversity is Thursday

Rockville, Maryland, Feb. 7 — The Mayor and Council will host a town hall conversation about how the city can become a more inclusive place to live and work, from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9 in the Carnation Room of the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive.

Human Rights Commission Chair Ebony Davis and former Rockville City Police Department chief Terry Treschuk will facilitate. Audience members will be able to address the Mayor and Council.

The town hall aims to engage Rockville community members in a dialogue about how to improve the city's efforts to welcome and engage its diverse residents. Rockville is the 14th most diverse city in America. One-third of its residents were born outside the United States.
