International Night Presents the Rich Cultures of Rockville

Rockville, Maryland, March 21 — Now in its second year at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, International Night returns March 23 with a festival of the world’s cultures to entertain the entire family.

At this free event, audience members will be able to enjoy performances and costume displays, and can sample unique and traditional ethnic and cultural foods in the theater’s social hall.

The doors open for this Friday evening event at 5:30 p.m., with an address by attending Mayor and Councilmembers at 6 p.m. followed by performances, then food tasting.

Dancers, musicians, actors and singers are among the 16 acts that will represent African, Chinese, Austrian, Honduran, Mexican, Caribbean, Irish and Salvadorian culture.

The event will be emceed by Tiffany Copeland, an assistant professor at Montgomery College – Rockville’s radio program.
