What is the cost for a dog, cat or ferret license?
Dogs, cats and ferrets are licensed until the expiration date of their rabies vaccination. For a dog, cat or ferret being licensed for the first time the fee is as follows:

  • Altered: $1.00 per month up to the rabies expiration date.

  • Altered-Sr. Rate (owner 60 years of age or older): $.50 cents a month up to the rabies expiration date. Same rate for a recipient of Public Assistance or handicapped individual

  • Unaltered: $2.00 per month up to the rabies expiration date.
