8:30 p.m.After her stunning debut in 2002, Vanessa Carlton earned three Grammy nominations in 2003 for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist. Vanessa received much acclaim for her hit singles, “Ordinary Day” and “A Thousand Miles,” which reached the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart. Vanessa has spent the past three years touring with legendary singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks and most recently released her third album, titled “Heroes and Thieves.”
| 7-8 p.m. Superland is one of the area's funkiest bands, playing classic funk from James Brown and Stevie Wonder through Michael Jackson and Prince, as well as their own original funk creations. The band's calling card is its horn section, with two trumpets and two saxes, supported by two drummers, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals. As an opener for national acts throughout the region, Superland has shared the stage with Chuck Brown, Common, the Pietasters, and Sister Hazel. | | TASTE OF ROCKVILLE |  
1-10 p.m. Celebrate the diversity and international culture of Rockville when the best restaurants in the area offer tastes of their menus. | | VIS ARTS FINE ARTS FESTIVAL | 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Enjoy fine arts and fine crafts up and down Gibbs Street in Rockville Town Center. Artists from across the country will feature jewelry, paintings, photography, glass, sculpture, and furniture. Please note that the VisArts Fine Arts Festival begins at 10am. | | GOING GREEEN EXPO | Meet numerous exhibitors as they present their green products ranging from countertops to recycled books and energy-related services. | KIDS' ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT | 1-10 p.m. Check out the activities available for all ages to enjoy in the Middle Lane parking lot, including a kiddie ferris wheel, tiger moonbounce, Jurassic Adventure, Finding Nemo Experience, Wave of Fire Slide, Car Speedway, Adrenaline Rush Obstacle Course, and more! Please note: Fee for kids' activities. | PLAZA STAGE | 1:30-3 p.m. Known for his trademark licks on the Commander Cody classic, "Hot Rod Lincoln," Grammy-nominated guitarist, singer and songwriter Bill Kirchen takes to the plaza stage on Saturday, May 24th. For over 30 years, Bill has been celebrating an American musical tradition where country music draws upon its origins in blues, bluegrass and in the western swing of Texas and California honky-tonks. | 3:30-5 p.m. Visions of Jazz is a seasoned Washington, D.C. jazz ensemble performing a spirited combination of Latin, Afro-Cuban mambo, classical, and contemporary jazz. You will feel their vibe, spirit, and true flavor in the tradition of jazz. VOJ will provide a musical taste of ginseng—a pure energy and power boost. Sit back, relax (or groove, if you wish) and enjoy Visions of Jazz. | 5:30-7 p.m. The fusion of ancient and modern instruments allows Andean music group the Mystic Warriors to truly express themselves in front of a large and diverse audience. Wanting to make their music more accessible to their American audience, the Mystic Warriors have included contemporary instrumentation with their traditional Andean Music by adding guitar, synthesizers, drums and bass. While growing up they were influenced by pop music and culture, listening to Top 40, classic rock and contemporary jazz—a mix that has influenced their music as much as their Andean music background. | | AUSTIN GRILL STAGE | 1:00-1:30 p.m. | 3:00-3:30 p.m.
| 5:00-5:30 p.m. | | MARYLAND STAGE | 2-3 p.m. Join students from The Hope Chinese School as they perform group dances including Clapping Little Hands, Little Peas, and more. A Wushu/Martial Arts demonstration will follow. | 4-5 p.m. Founded in 1997, The Culkin School enrolls nearly 500 students and is an active member of the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore Irish-American communities. In spreading their mission to pass on the tradition of Irish dance, the Culkin School has performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Wolf Trap. | 6-7 p.m. Impact Choreography is a professional dance company that performs throughout the Washington, D.C. area. Their shows include the Walk for Hope, performances at Kings Dominion and Six Flags, National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the PURE Fashion Show. | | COURTHOUSE SQUARE STAGE | 1-2 p.m. With a fresh new perspective on contemporary jazz, Scott Paddock has redefined the sound of the modern saxophonist. His soulful combination of jazz and funk create an explosion of high energy grooves that will make you fall in love with the saxophone all over again. In just a short period of time, Scott has already opened for Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, and Bootsy Collins. | 
3-4 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. If big, brassy, and funky New Orleans parade music is what you want, then the New Line Brass band is for you. Blending a mixture of traditional brass band standards, spirituals, zydeco, and original compositions, New Line Brass band plays with a loose vibe and a funky groove. | KIDS' STAGE |
2-3 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. Join Paul Hadfield as he presents a unique slapstick comedy routine using music, juggling, unicycles, and audience participation. Combining physical comedy with verbal wit, the Funny Guy provides entertainment that both children and adults will enjoy.
| 6-6:45 p.m. Kaydee Puppets has been entertaining children across the region since 1972. Join them as they present the great stories of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Princess and the Pea, and Three Billy Goats Gruff. | | MONTGOMERY STAGE | 1:30-2:30 p.m. Formed in 1998, Emphasis draws their inspiration from various jazz masters such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Clifford Brown. Emphasis has taken the stage at the East Coast Jazz Festival, B. Smiths, and the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival. The group is comprised of Karlton Jackson on saxophone, Terry Marshall on piano, Eric Weller on bass and Tony Adderson on the drums. | 3:30-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. The Nautical Wheelers are the ultimate party band as they offer their audiences everything from Jimmy Buffet tunes to classic rock to country. |

| Hometown Holidays is hosted by the Mayor and Council of Rockville, Rockville American Legion Post 86, and the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Special Events Volunteer Application | Parade Registration Application - Video and audio recorders and cameras are prohibited during Sunday evening's concert.
- Bring beach chairs or blankets to ensure comfortable seating, and please be considerate so that those around you can see the show too.
- No chairs or blankets allowed within 100 feet of the stage.
- Lost children should report to the First Aid/Information booth.
- For safety reasons, bikes, skateboards and inline skates are not permitted to be ridden in the event area.
- For your safety, no glass containers or animals should be brought to Hometown Holidays.
- Recycle and garbage bins are located throughout the festival. Please dispose of trash, plastic bottles and cans responsibly.
- Most events will take place rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, call the Special Events Line at 240-314-5022 for cancellations.
