Anime - Japanese Animation Drawing
Discover the style and beauty of the Japanese pulp media. Learn the traits and characteristics that set this art form of drawing apart from its Western counterparts using media such as pencil, ink and watercolor. $12 supply fee due to instructor at first class.

Ballet for Teens
Students with five or more years of experience are welcome to join this class and learn advanced ballet techniques. Students with demonstrated proficiency are encouraged to register with the Rockville Civic Ballet. If a participant registers for two or more ballet classes, a $5 discount may be applied to one class. To receive a discount, registration must be handled by mail, fax or in-person. See Adult Ballet

Achievers
Achievers is an afterschool program for middle school students. Participants gain positive tools such as problem solving, emotion management strategies and career exploration. Students earn community service hours through volunteer projects and credits towards Recreation and Parks activities based on their participation.

After School Lounge
(Formerly the Chatroom)
Sign up now and join your friends at the most fun, safe, laid back After School Lounge there is! Enjoy computers with Internet access, Sony Playstation, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, sports, table tennis, clubs, computer games, field trips, craft projects and, of course, homework time! Daily attendance is encouraged but not required. Transportation provided from Julius West and Robert Frost Middle Schools. Program runs Monday-Friday, 3-6 p.m. On half-days, 12 noon-6 p.m. Closed holidays or on days when MCPS schools are closed. Two ways to save money! Teen Step & Sculpt
Enjoy a free demonstration of this fun exercise class to see if you like it! This step aerobics/weight training combo class will give a great cardio work out and build muscle at the same time! Bring your own weights to class.

“Half Day” Trips
Fill up your free time by enjoying an afternoon of fun with your peers. Join us on our Early Release Day trips (Go-Karting, Bowling & Movie). Bring money for food. Cost includes admission fees, transportation and supervision. Pick-up and drop-off from Robert Frost and Julius West Middle Schools.
