You can register for Spring 2023 programs/classes at www.rockvillemd.gov/registration. You can view Summer 2023 programs/classes online on May 8 and registration will open at 8:30 a.m. on May 11.

Interested in a job at Rockville Swim and Fitness Center? Attend our open house on Wednesday, March 29 from 5pm-8pm. This will include Walk-In Preliminary Interviews and Skills Tests for summer jobs (Lifeguards, Slide Attendants, and Swim Instructors). Bring your swimsuit, towel, and summer calendar. Please look at the flyer for more information on the hiring event. 

For those that are interested but cannot attend the event, apply online (www.rockvillemd.gov/careers) for a position.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center is a great place to swim and stay in shape year-round. We offer two outdoor swimming pools, two indoor swimming pools, a whirlpool and sauna, and a fully-equipped fitness center.

Our indoors pools and fitness center is open! Sign up for our Email Newsletter at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenteralerts to get informed on when the outdoor pools will open for the season.

Featuring an open play area, in-water basketball, and a kid pool with fountains and sprayground, the outdoor pool is perfect for families, friends and parties. Amenities on site include shower / changing areas and snack bar.  Pool will be closed for inclement weather. See our Rentals and Parties page for information on camp group and birthday party reservations.

Indoor Pools

Each of our two indoor pools are heated. Our north pool has a beach-style entry for ramp access and is 25 meters long. Our south pool is 25 yards long and has water depths up to 12 feet. The center offers locker rooms that are fully equipped with showers. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Aquatics programs are offered year-round. Enjoy fitness and training in our eight-lane, 50 meter fitness pool with a 1-meter and 3-meter diving board. Pool will be closed for inclement weather.
Fitness Room at Swim and Fitness Center

Fitness Room, Sauna and Whirlpool

Our modern fitness center is fully equipped with free-weights, cardio machines and strength-training machines. We offer personal training sessions and consultations with a certified fitness expert. The center offers a 15-person whirlpool and a spacious sauna near the north pool.

Our spacious rooms are available to rent for parties, meetings and special events and host our land based fitness classes.
