The Environmental Excellence Awards program was developed to stimulate public awareness and promote the environmental achievements of outstanding projects and/or practices within Rockville.
The award has the following four categories:
- Outstanding Individual Environmental Stewardship
- Outstanding Leadership in Environmental Practices
- Outstanding Achievement in Green Building Technology / Design
- Outstanding Environmental Education and Academic Achievement
