Intergenerational Fall Festival Due to impending rain and storms forecasted for Saturday, Sept. 23, as well as the unexpected delay in the release of the updated COVID-19 vaccine booster, the Senior Center's Intergenerational Fall Festival has been canceled and rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (rain or shine). Current registrants for this event will remain registered. Please call 240-314-8800 with any questions.
Harvest the happiness of fall with games, music, exercise demos, crafts, petting zoo, educational fun, refreshments ($), and more at the Rockville Senior Center! Entry is free. COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots will be available. Please bring insurance card.
Rockville’s Senior Center is an active facility dedicated to serving those who are aged 60 and older within and around our community. We offer nutritious meals, educational classes and workshops, arts programs, fitness, counseling services and much more. Our large center features a full cafeteria, computer lab, fitness rooms, library, community garden plots, woodworking studio, and plenty of rooms for hosting your next special event.

Welcome the season of abundance, and live life to the fullest this fall with a host of virtual and in-person programs through Rockville Senior Center. Enjoy a taste of Maryland with a food historian, dress up for our Halloween Costume Bash, take a fitness workshop or stress reduction/meditation class and celebrate autumn at our Oktoberfest Wine and Cheese with music by Prost! Rockville German Band.

Kick-off summer with these offerings at the Rockville Senior Center. Celebrate International Day with us and several local sponsors as we recognize cultures with food, music, and dance. An All-Day Exercise program allows you to sample many of the classes offered to help you stay active and healthy. Explore 100 rooms at the "O Street Museum" or a murder mystery trip, "Do or Die Mysteries." You can cool off with the Carnation Players Ice Cream Social, don your apron to cook with Chef Alba or try your hand at printmaking using Soft Kut printing blocks.
The Senior Center Fitness Room is open with no reservation requirements. Masks are optional.
Games and Activities
Join a game of ping pong or chess in one of our activity rooms. Our activity rooms are equipped for bridge, knockout poker, pinochle and more.
Bocce ball is available outside.
Transportation
Reservation required
A bus shuttle for City of Rockville residents is available to the Senior Center, shopping, club meetings and more. Call 240-314-8810 for reservations and area pickup and drop off locations.
