Rockville provides unlimited electronic and metal recycling collected by appointment only. Alternatively, you can drop off items at the Montgomery County Transfer Station.

Tips for Collection:

  • Place items at the curb by 6 a.m. in an unobstructed area that is away from parked cars, tree limbs, fire hydrants and overhead wires. 
  • When buying new electronics, check with the store about recycling old electronics.

  • Refrigerators/freezers (by law, doors must be removed before setting items out at the curb)
