Rockville Facilities to Close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 20

Recycling and Trash Collected a Day Later Throughout the Week

Rockville, Maryland, Jan. 15 – City Hall and some city facilities will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 20.

City facilities will operate on the following schedule:

  • City Hall will be closed.
  • Glenview Mansion will be closed.
  • Croydon Creek Nature Center and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office are closed Mondays. Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
  • The Rockville Senior Center, including the fitness room, will be closed.
  • Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers will be open regular hours.
  • The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for lap and program schedules.

Parking will be free at city-owned meters.
