Online classes include reading, speaking, listening and pronunciation for senior whose first language is not English. BEFORE registering, new students must schedule and assessment of their English skills. Please email program coordinator, Amoke Alakoye at aalakoye@rockvillemd.gov to schedule an evaluation. Returning students should register for the class recommended by their teacher. No class on 9/26 or 10/5.
This presentation serves as an introduction to heart disease and stroke, and includes definitions and warning signs of arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, heart attack, and stroke. Presented by Circle of Rights, a nonprofit formed to provide education, support, encouragement, hope, and opportunity for those whole lives can be changed by stroke and other related conditions. Join our Outdoor Nature Club and spend an hour investigating and learning about nature. Each meeting we will play games, perform experiments and explore the forest preserve.
