The Holiday Drive Returns to Make the Season Brighter for Families in Need
October 30, 2025

For more than a half century, Rockville’s Holiday Drive has supported local families in need during the season of giving.
As a community effort, the Holiday Drive relies on support from local churches, schools, civic organizations, service clubs, social service agencies and individuals. And as the holidays approach, Rockville businesses in particular are invited to join in contributing to the Holiday Drive’s good work.
In 2024, the drive served 750 Rockville households, including seniors, for Thanksgiving, and reached about 1,500 children and teens in December. See how else you helped your neighbors on the front page of the caregivers’ guide, inside.
Collection boxes for donations will be placed at facilities throughout the city. Food donations will be collected until Friday, Nov. 14; toys and books will be collected until Friday, Dec. 12.
